Container Delivery & Your First Service
- If the container will be placed in an enclosure, please contact us if you have not already informed WM. Access areas must be at least 12 feet wide, and gates must be able to swing fully open.
- If the container will be placed off your property, make sure the placement has been approved by the city or any other owner.
- Look for a follow-up email about your upcoming service. You’ll also hear from your Account Success Representative, who will be supporting you through your first few months with WM. In the meantime, set your communication preferences by logging in to My WM.
Your My WM Online Profile
With a My WM online profile, you can manage accounts and billing, request services, view pickup schedules and more, all in one place.
Setting Your Communication Preferences
Once you’ve set up your My WM account, setting your communication preferences is the next step. This will allow you to choose how and when you would like to receive updates regarding your account.
Information in this article may be inapplicable to customers who receive service pursuant to a WM agreement with a municipality, association or other entity, or where applicable law requires differing terms of service.
